I just got an email about TuneX from Lethal Performance for the Bronco and other Ford EcoBoost engines. Look like it has potential. No shift point changes or auto/stop removal but good gains and easy install that doesn't void warranty. Any thoughts?

We are excited about these!
They are SO easy to install!
We are happy to have another option on the market.
We have a write up on it here:
Check the device out for yourself here!

Check out all of the TuneX Modules we currently have here!

Check out the full video, where we give an in-depth overview, install, and testing on a 2021 F-150 here! (Information still applies to the Bronco!)

Let me know what questions you may have.

Interesting.......will the 2.3 unit work on the 2025-up version of that engine?

This is not something we personally have done (yet), but I do not see any sort of restriction in play. It should work the same as the 21+, even though the ECU is different.
I am going to reach out and confirm. I will let you know.

I'll hold off and see some input here before I pick one up. I like the idea, but I also liked the Banks Pedal Monster for my F150 and ended up very disappointed.

What are the advantages of this vs. the competition? Looks to be more or less the same as the Panda power module.

There are other similar products on the market, but this one includes 7 maps, has optional Bluetooth support (which we give standard), and is competitively priced. Choices are good for the market!

Also, edit: The Panda one does not look to still be available! This one is a great addition to the Ecoboost line.

I'm glad to see more choices coming to market here, but I'm trying to see the value of 29 hp and 43tq from a programmer which costs a few bucks more than the JB4.

I'm not seeing advertised values for the JB4 2.3 L specifically so I'm just directly comparing the 2.7 numbers between the 2 devices.
Tune-X 2.7l shows 44hp and 90tq vs JB4 2.7l which gives you like 90hp and 120 tq. Even comparing the Tune-X against the FPP ($17 more) you get similar gains AND improved transmission shift logic.

Is this a realm for the 2.3 L that is somehow lacking support that the 2.7 L has? While this doesn't affect me directly, my buddy is looking to buy a Bronco and he wants the manual transmission so he'll have to get the 2.3 L and he's already talking about a tuner.

How does this compare to the Ford Performance tune?
The FP Procal is a fantastic product - but totally different. The ProCal will be less power - I will be frank about that - but does have a "full flash" on the Bronco. This means it does help with transmission tuning as well. It is closer to a "full tune" as people have said, but toned down for Ford Performance reliability standards.

If you are wanting something you can have your dealer install and not worry about removing, the Procal is a great option.
This one is another one to consider to get more power, easily removed, but does not have transmission tuning.

We just confirmed fitment. There is a separate harness that is used, but is included for '25 users. :)

These is another company that offers something similar that could not even tell me the locations of all the harness connections but swore it would work on the 2025 2.3.

The product description only mentions three maps (Sport, Race, Eco)...what are the other four maps?

Looks like There are more maps to choose from (7?) you can put any of the 7 maps into those 3 categories. For example eco could be like a map 1 or 2 while Sport is like a 4 or 5 and Race could be a map 6 or 7

Yes, that's what I was trying to confirm. The way it's worded on the website it makes it sound as though there are seven total categories..."Sport, Race, Eco and more"
