I installed an amp and tweeters in my bronco and everything was working totally fine but now all of a sudden the tweeters on my driver side aren’t playing any sound. If I unplug and re-plug the speaker wires and RCA cables back into the amp it all of a sudden works with no issues but only until I turn the car off. Once I leave the car off for 15 or so minutes when I refire it on they don’t work again.

Any ideas what this might be and how to fix it?

You have access to a scan tool or Forscan??

I wonder if the ACM is cutting off power to your aftermarket amp for some reason.

I do have access to it but not much experience. What should I do to check that?

Check the DTC codes (Diagnostic Trouble Codes) and see if the ACM is reporting anything. If you are using Forscan there is a yellow triangle "DTC" button on the left hand side of the UI specifically made to check them.

I can say my ACM throws “missing speaker” DTCs for my speaker level inputs but continues to play.

There may be a “short circuit speaker” code that does cut them out though, but I don’t know that for certain.

how do you correct DTC codes that say open circuit for speakers #1-4 after kicker amp/speaker install?

A few days of rest and care will work wonders:

kicker key and 500 for sub. maybe faulty harness?
Either that or the Kicker Keys don't generate the load the ACM is expecting, and you'll need to add either a load generator or a line-output converter.

Is music actually playing or no?

Ah okay. If music is playing, then it's not the harness. You just need to add a load generator.

AudioControl AC-LGD 20 would be my choice.

Or obviously you can just ignore the DTCs.

Would I also need these load generators?
Had the speaker delete on my Bronco. We installed a Fusion amp and Skar sub. Also, replaced front and pod speakers with Skar Audio (upgraded rear to 6.5"). Since then I have been experiencing intermittent issues with front and pods speakers not working. Sometimes when I start up vehicle there is no sound from any of the speakers. (rear sub works all the time). They will continue to not work for the duration of that drive. I can sometimes shut off vehicle and restart to get them working. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. I just learned of the Power and arrow button to reboot. Tried that with no luck.
Also, on some other thread someone mentioned an electronic whirring/clicking that sounds through the speakers when they open doors to get in. I also hear this occasionally. I believe that i can hear it when the speakers are going to work and DO NOT hear it when the speakers are not going to work.
