Probably an odd question but can you un-program a key fob? I bought 2 additional aftermarket key fobs and programmed them. They worked fine for months but unfortunately one of them is getting sketchy, not always working until you hit the buttons several times. I bought a replacement fob from Ford (less key) but since I already have 4 fobs programmed, I can't program the new one without removing one of the other additional fobs. I thought that maybe when I went to program the new one it might ask me if I wanted to replace an existing one but just says maximum number of fobs programmed. Yes, I could just use the originals but was just wondering if there was a simple solution that I am overlooking. Any thoughts appreciated.

Dealership can. But you cannot.

There is no way to un-program just one key, you have to un-program all of them and the re-program the two admin keys.

Which means dealership or NASTF licensed locksmith. You used to be able to do it in Forscan, but Ford updated PATS on the newer vehicles.

EDIT-- And.... @Ducati1098 beat me again.
