Question about pulling fuses to have the 4wd back on did you pull and put back in and that gave you the 4wd again?

Question about pulling fuses to have the 4wd back on did you pull and put back in and that gave you the 4wd again?

When the axel broke it set ABS codes because there is no frequency coming from that sensor. The 4WD system in our 6G Broncos is a "smart" system. This is how GOAT modes are achieved. If the sensor codes it will disable 4WD. Pulling the fuses just cleared the codes. In all likelihood, the codes could have been driven out as well when the ABS recognized speed on that wheel. The issue is most of the time the speed has to be greater that 25MPH for a period of time.

Could the same result been achieved by disconnecting the battery for a hard reset?
