I have manual seat adjustments and there is a lever between the lumbar dial and seat back adjustment angle lever that I cannot find what it is used for. Nothing that I can find about it is noted in the owner's manual. It can be rotated up and down, but seems to lock after one cycle in either direction, but I don't feel any change in the seat. I suspect there is a simple explanation but it has me baffled. Anyone care to inform me as to what it is?

That would be your seat height adjuster. It only goes down when you are sitting in the seat, to go up you would have to get out of the seat and then pump up.

Shorty lever. My daughter uses it when she's driving. Between her and my wife, my gut is on the wheel and head in the hard. top.

Thank you all for that information. Mine doesn't do anything with me sitting in the seat. Maybe the seat is all the way down. I will try moving the lever with no weight on it to see if it goes up.

I didn't know the seat height is adjustable with manual seat adjustments. That could be useful when approaching a steep drop off for the first time. I will probably get out and look anyway like I always do.

There's a little bit of play in the lever and then you have to push/pull harder for it to start going up/down. Might've seemed like it wasn't working if you weren't pushing/pulling hard enough

I'm too fat for mine to go up while I'm sitting in it either. If I hold myself up by a grab handle I can get it to go up without having to get out of the thing.

Yes, I discovered I was not moving the lever far enough. As soon as I felt resistance, I stopped. I felt I might break something. Once I realized how it works, I tried using more force and I could move the seat up and down easily.

I appreciate the help that this site provides. It is certainly a great source for Bronco owners.

LMAO…it adjusts up and down while you’re sitting in it as well. Mine did, and I’m 220. Just hit the gym…I guess!!!
Damn, time to try it out on mine too! Always felt like the lever was about to snap whenever I tried, haha.
