Over the past six months, we’ve received thousands of comments on the TrailDeck. One request, in particular, kept coming up: "I need maximum security, especially when I'm running topless."

Today, the Broaddict Engineering Team is proud to introduce our latest project: the TrailDeck L (Security Cargo Drawer). This isn't just a drawer add-on; it’s a complete ground-up redesign for hardcore enthusiasts who demand both extreme capacity and absolute security.

Rock-Solid Engineering: No Compromises

We didn't just put a box on a plate. We redefined every technical spec:
  • Lockable Security: A fully anti-theft, lockable vault for your gear. Now you can hit the trails topless and leave your camera gear or expensive recovery tools locked up tight and out of sight.
  • Next-Gen Slide System: We skipped the standard heavy-duty slides found elsewhere and developed our own "Bearing + Steel Tube" system. It stays buttery smooth even under extreme loads, lasts longer, and is lighter than traditional all-steel rails.
  • Extreme Capacity: * Top Deck: Supports up to 265 lbs (perfect for heavy-duty fridges).
    • Inside Drawer: Supports 110 lbs (for toolkits, kinetic ropes, and spares).
  • Spacious Interior: The drawer features a 5.9-inch depth—specifically sized for large gear and serious organization.

The Small Details (You’ll Wonder How You Lived Without):
  • Dual Access: When the top deck and drawer are both extended, you'll find you can still easily access the factory jack area (Note: provides access to the large main storage section; the very small area closest to the tailgate remains inaccessible due to the slide structure).
  • The OG Design Language: The top features the same detachable, easy-to-wash rubber pad you loved from the OG version. Just pop it off and rinse it down when it gets dirty.
  • The "Silent" Treatment: We’ve added a felt liner underneath to cover the exposed floor and prevent metal-on-metal friction—keeping your ride rattle-free.
  • Built-in Versatility: Integrated with 4 D-ring tie-down points for securing extra cargo on top.

Honest Pricing & A Special Offer

For a full-steel security solution with a high-end sliding system, what would you expect to pay? We want to keep this accessible, so the official MSRP for the TrailDeck L is $849.

BUT—we want to go even further. Since these first 5 spots are for the core community members who have been growing alongside Broaddict, we’re offering a special "Growth Reward." The first 5 orders will get an instant $100 OFF! That means the pioneers will snag theirs for just $749. All we ask in return is your honest feedback to help us keep improving!

First Batch: Only 5 Spots Available

The first 5 units have officially cleared Final Quality Control (QC). Because of the complex manufacturing process, this initial pre-order batch is limited to only 5 spots for our community members.
  • ETA: Mid-June.
  • Status: Pre-order link going live soon.
Have questions or feedback? Drop a comment below! We’ll be here to answer anything regarding specs, installation, or fitment.

Stay tuned for product photos coming shortly!

110 lbs on the drawer glides? Really? Hmmm.... I think our silverware drawer is rated slightly higher than that. Am I reading that wrong?

We didn't just put a box on a plate. Oh, wait, yeah, that is all we did.
Should have put it in the back of a Bronco for the picture.
And maybe shown the inside. And our fancy slides.
At least we dangled the key in the SOS lock.
Our bad.

Haha, fair point on the silverware drawer! To clarify, 110 lbs is our conservative, recommended working load for daily use—not the breaking point.

We rate it this way to ensure the glides stay buttery smooth even on rugged trails. Structurally, it can handle much more since the drawer and the top deck share the same bearing structure.

What kind of gear would you throw in there? We’d love to know what the 'must-haves' are for your setup.

Well, for days going to the range, handguns and ammo (range days we usually have a heavy load of ammo, then much lighter on the way home).

I could definitely use it to keep tackle when going to the beach. Extra line, sinkers, tackle bags, etc., to keep them locked up.

Along with jumper cables, tow strap, and some other goodies.

Recovery gear, tools and anything small and heavy that I don't want bouncing around. There are HD full extension drawer slides everywhere on the market. No need to re-invent the wheel. That rating has to be 200+ to interest me.

Im considering this for my 2 door with a seat delete. Do you have any dimensions? Have you tested this in a 2 door?
