I have a Big Bend and used the Rough Country 3.5" lift and put 35x12.50r17 Nitto Ridge Grapplers on. My avatar pic was the day after I got the tires, and just driving on a dirt road got it completely covered in mud. Mind you, this is a dirt road at a buddies farm that sedans are capable of using to get back to their farm house, it's by no means 'offroading'.
It doesn't really bother me at all as I can just run through the car wash right by my house, but it's worth noting. The wider fenders would definitely help with keeping the mud off the doors. These tires are also very wide.
