That's true this whole thing is one big cluster f*ck for everyone involved I thought about a lightening but 300 mile range is not sexy lol

The 1994 Lightnings Range was 200 to 273, or less if your like me. The 1999s were a little better at 294 to 367. So whats the big deal. Its easier to fill up at home. The only time it would suck is on road trips but after 4 hours of driving why not take a break.

You could fill it with fuel in about 8 minutes almost anywhere you wanted.

When the "order" was setup in the system that is how it was speced, but since many of these are still pre-production or demo units, they don't care what top they put on now, they just want to keep the line running to work out issues.

Where I live 300+ miles is the lake and back or a trip to the casino. I would have to slow charge there are 2 "quick" charging areas in town. To compare the older model mileage is kind of a stupid point to make when a 10 minute fill at the pump or 8 hour charge, or 18 in my case, is the option

Confused by the VIN. Two users commented that they are 6000 and 9000 out (with presumably late June/early July builds assigned). Ford said 500/week in May, ramping up to 2500/week in August.

Seems like awfully ambitious build dates...

More likely to be caused by the 35" tires as the overall gearing includimg the tires is relatively unchanged.
