Yes, he says he installed it at home and was easy, but mentioned nothing about reprogramming it. He usually covers details better then that.True, but he works at a dealer so probably had it reprogrammed for free.

This is a great solution for the sound system if you never intend to use your rearview mirror or Reverse.
Doesn't the rear camera work or the 2 side mirrors?
It's just like the new Corvette. Seems to be they wave of the future.Mount a camera and power it 100% when the car is on. Easy enough - but is it worth the effort?
Was coming here to say that. Sounds nice and is a practical solution to the base stereo system, but a no-go because of visibility.I drove a Bronco with one of these installed at the dealership and this speaker completely blocks any view out of the back of the truck - rear view mirror is rendered useless. Good idea but terrible execution.
The guy at T & C Customs installed one in his and said the soft top when down blocks the rear view anyway, so it didn't matter the soundbar did also. If visibility is a concern, better not get a soft top either or don't put it fully down. Was coming here to say that. They have been in sanding trucks and dunno trucks for quite some time. Very practical. It's just like the new Corvette. Seems to be they wave of the future.
I drive a demo with one and I straight up couldnāt se out of the rear window with that sound bar and the 35in spare lolSeems like a ridiculous amount of effort (that you can't do in your garage) for a damn speaker replacement. I've heard it in person though, and it DOES sound pretty decent.
It's not like back in 1968 when you popped a pair of 6 x 9's into the package shelf and run a couple of wires and a fader control and enjoy. This is what you have to do to add some speakers, holy shit! Iām out of touch
There's got to be some kind of work around. You hopefully could keep the head unit and bypass everything else.Pretty happy actually you canāt add this to a FE.
How did it sound in the demo?I drive a demo with one and I straight up couldnāt se out of the rear window with that sound bar and the 35in spare lol
