You are correct. Definitely an oversight on Ford’s part.

Best thing to do is to get in a habit of pressing unlock on the fob every time you get in.

Also, get in a habit of pressing the unlock button prior to getting out of the Bronco.
The same problem exists when exiting the vehicle.

Just had this update and the wiper motor done at the same time.
The window drop feature on unlock is an improvement, but I’ve noticed it only triggers when you unlock the vehicle via fob. If I unlock by putting my hand on the door handle with fob in pocket, the windows don’t drop… pretty surprised by that oversight. Does everyone else’s behave this way?

Just noticed today drivers side no longer automaticly lowers when door opens. Hopefully this will be a fix for that. They are coming by with a mobile service tomorrow. Passenger side fine, bit it gets less use. I was a bit skeptical of that feature when I first got the Bronco considering winters can be cold and snowy here.
