I sold 1 vehicle to each as well. Each sale had the higher price between the two.

Carvana was very easy to work with, but vroom was terrible.

i’m not surprised that vroom is done.

Carvana is only great if your selling to them. My brother tried to buy a used Bronco from them and ended up with a vehicle he couldn't register it because they wouldn't give him the title to him to register and this was after he payed completely with cash.

That has been a major ongoing issue with Carvanna. To the point where several states have revoked their business license (at least for time) so they could no longer operate there. That makes me very skeptical to use them if I were so inclined.

That said I am not surprised Vroom is shuttering. It is a really rough economic time. For cars especially.

And to echo others here when I was really close to selling the Bronco because of the stupid high prices on cars; Carvanna was offering me way more than I paid for the car, Vroom was not anywhere near the same price.

I sold my mom's last car for her on Vroom for her. The transaction went smoothly.

I find that some dealers are giving better prices on trades too. When one offers low ball pricing I just leave.

Carvana has been great for me, but get the vehicles inspected yourselves. Carvana is notorious for not inspecting vehicles AT ALL.

CarMax is the best.

Vroom was atrociously bad.
