I’m in the same boat here Shahram. This isn’t good news at all.Thank you Shahram. I'll wait to hear from you before I do anything drastic, like transfer my reservation to the Texas Buyer's Group, or start looking at Jeep Rubicons.
Congratulations!! Thank you for choosing to work with us!Just reserved with Walnut Creek Ford!
I completely understand. I want to verify it with Ford to make sure this is credible. It just doesn't make sense. I'm with you guys, and will let you know as soon as I find out.I’m in the same boat here Shahram. This isn’t good news at all.

I am sad to say, that it is true with the 2 and 4 door bronco not being eligible for the x-plan. I am absolutely shocked. This is what was just sent out by the Bronco team:I completely understand. As of right now, staying with MSRP, we definitely will not be marking these cars up, I know that will not change for us. AZD are for people who work for, or worked for Ford Motor Company. In all sincerity, I am still trying to process this information myself. I know it doesn't sound fair, especially with everyone's understanding that it would be accepted. Anything else I find out, I will share right away.@WCFord
With announcement of no X-plan pricing, is WC staying with no mark up over MSRP or better? What is AZD Plan pricing? How do we get it!
Hi all. FYI Here is a letter from Kearny Mesa Ford in San Diego. As of right now, staying with MSRP, we definitely will not be marking these cars up, I know that will not change for us. @WCFordHi all. FYI Here is a letter from Kearny Mesa Ford in San Diego.
“ Good afternoon all,
We at Kearny Mesa Ford have tried our best to be completely transparent regarding our pricing policies with all of you from the very beginning. Our commitments were clear to all reservation holders: We are not going to mark up the price above MSRP, we will accept all Ford sponsored discounts (X/Z/A/D Plan), and we will not add any additional equipment or accessories without request.
As some of you know already, Ford announced today that the full size Bronco will not qualify for Xplan discounts. Xplan is typically for employees of companies which partner with Ford. The Bronco will still qualify for Z/A/D plan though. Needless to say this came as a big surprise to all of us. I have personally spoken to well over 100 of you and I understand just how important this factor was in your decision to do business with us.
In response to this, we have internally made the decision that we will still honor the Xplan discount for anybody who can provide a valid PIN when it comes time to complete the purchase. This will just be for your individual special order and will not be offered on any stock Broncos. We will use typical Xplan pricing from like-priced Fords to approximate what the discount would have been. This will also disqualify our dealership from the reimbursement we would typically see from doing an Xplan deal, but following through on our commitments is more important than that.”
I appreciate you sharing that. I am in talks with the rest of the management team. Didn't want anyone to think I've skipped town after the recent news. As soon as I have anything confirmed to share, I will post it on here.
As I’m sure you are aware @WCFord, a dealership 30 miles West is offering the same thing Kearny Mesa is. 0.4% below invoice plus $275.I appreciate you sharing that.
