Sort of embarrassed to post this… I’ve got the WeatherTech mud flaps, but I decided to go a different way. I put non-Sasquatch flares on my Sasquatch and now the mud flaps look a little odd.

However, I can’t get the two big bolts for the rear flaps out. They would just spin and spin. Finally figured out they’re out of the plastic bumper, but aren’t backing out of the bracket. How do I get those suckers out?!

Wedge a screw driver and wedge it out while turning the bolt?

Been trying to find instructions for mounting the WeatherTech flaps. Thought they might help with uninstalling because I don’t remember how I did it. Haven’t had any luck finding a pdf or decent video.

I went to their site. The instructions are generic. 🤷‍♂️

I’ll try again.

Ok. Found the instructions. All it says is remove and then reinstall. I got an idea though. I’ll try it out tomorrow.

Well, my idea didn’t work. And I finally decided to destroy the WeatherTech to remove it. Turns out the bumper has a “nutsert” type of thing that the bolts thread into. Guess I overtorqued the bolts when I installed the mud flaps. Once I got the mud flap out of the way I was able to get some vice grips on the “nut” so I could unthread the bolt.
