I got my truck back from Ford a week and a half ago. I was underneath the truck today and I found these two bolts and a bracket sticking out from one of the plates underneath the transfer case. They were just loose stuck in the hole. I looked around but I can't see where they came from.

Does anybody know?

looks like the retaining ring and bolts for the driveshaft right above where you found them.

Make sure they are all there. Might have lost them during assembly and used others.

edit: Snacktime beat me to it. 😁

Similar but not the same. Not our missing and the ones that I found are like a star hex nut where's the other ones are just a regular bolt head.

The ones I found are also a little bit further spaced out with that bracket

Found it. It's the drive shaft to the front. It looks brand new so I guess it was one of the recalls. All the bolts and brackets appear to be there so maybe this is from the old drive shaft and it just got caught in the plate. I don't think I have any issues.

Thanks for the help

Just went out to my Bronc to look and post back but you see it now. Yes the rear driveshaft is different but the front driveshaft appears correct.
