I have the 2.3, they said it takes 2 days to replace the turbo. But the are doing the recalls abs fixing the back seat. I hope to get it back today. Otherwise I can't pick it up until next Friday. Mine was throwing some wast gate error and going into limp mode
Thanks for the reply, they’re taking care of my recall items while they have it for the turbo as well.

I did not protect the painted surfaces but I think that would be a good idea.
I put tape down by my rear wheels when I took the top off and used those to guide me backing up. I was off about a quarter of an inch and the strut on the passenger side was touching the roll bar I had to get my wife to hold the soft top over a bit so I could back up all the way. If I had the roll bar covered I would not have worried about it.
If you have the height to lift the soft top up higher you can lower it and guide it into place. My set up is really the worst since I have no height and basically have to back into the soft top.
I’m gonna mess around with this. I think your set gives me a great start!

What winch is that? I like how it’s hidden, looks good.

I have the RC nudge bar and D Ring mounts. Assuming the winch mount hooks up to the same spot. Wonder if all 3 are ok to bolt to the same spot…

@flip Is this 3.0 tie rods on the 2.0 steering rack? Can you share the part #s?
Yes. You will also need to get a jamb nut for the inners as Ford does not list that separately from the full rack at this time.

Awesome, thanks for that info. Do you personally have any concern these could lead to steering rack damage down the road?

For what limited off-roading I have done or plan to do, no. I think if you're going to go with 37s or God forbid 40s, and plan on doing hard core rocking, yes. The stock racks with really big tires can go into a fault mode under a lot of slow speed driving and turns (trails) due to heat. If you are one of these and not built, go with the 3.0. A couple of guys are trying to make the 3.0 rack work in pre 3.0 vehicles and running into programming issues. If and when this get's worked out, might be a good choice for those that need the beefier steering.
