FJ Cruiser. I paid $23,500 in 2008 for it with 9000 miles. Sold it in 2023 for $20,000 with 156K miles. Not bad! Yeah, I did some work, but it was amazing. the only part that ever failed on it was an alternator. I lived at 11,400' in CO for 8 years, had a plow on it, wore out more tow ropes than I can count saving weekend visitors and it never got stuck. Loved it, but glad I upgraded.
2021 Bronco Sport (19k miles) AND a 2018 F-150 Raptor (29K miles). Add a little cash and I have a brand new Black Diamond Sasquatch and NO PAYMENT. Yeah it was worth it.
Not so much a rig, and wouldn't necessarily say I "gave it up", but coming from a 2016 6MT ATS-V. At least the next Prius that decides to T me through an intersection should end up underneath instead of straight through...

Miss the raw acceleration and MT. Not missing that ~5° approach angle! No more having to whip around and reverse up/down anything steeper than a speed bump.
Well I had a Lariat with a Coyote!
4 door crew cab! I grew weary trying to park it!
The Bronco is much easier to drive and a lot more fun.
The 2.7 has a lot of power and I love the torque band!
Its a lot noiser wind wise but getting used to it! I have hard top!
2019 Ranger FX4. I thought it was going to be my forever vehicle but my wife passed away and we were planning to travel. So now I'll always have her traveling spiritually with me.
Traded in the wife's 2018 Mini Cooper Countryman for the 23 WT LUX. Loved that lawnmower engine though, with the 33-35 highway mpg gas tank! I remember it had a fighter pilot ignition with a Sport switch that launched that little Brit-mobile into space. Had to trade it in before Mini changed the name to "Countryperson."
2016 4Runner Trail Premium. Old pic before I added the TRD Pro grill and roof rack. Great vehicle, and I nearly bought another one, but glad that I went with the Bronco.
2014 JKU purchased new. Head gasket blew at 90,XXX. Repaired, instead of a car note. Hoped to drive for another 100k, check engine light came on for different reasons after “fixed”. Traded in at 122,XXX. Considered a Gladiator, but went with the Bronco. It was a sad day after 10 years, but have no regrets. Picked up in April and currently at 2081 miles.
