What is the white wire with a red stripe near the sub amp?

I'm in the process of installing a working factory amp (from a fusion) and noticed the white wire with a red stripe poking out of the factory harness. Anyone know what it is for or could be used for?

It is one of the Aux wires Ford routed to that area. The other end is in the engine compartment driver side at the firewall.

Great to use for chase lights, or flood lights, not sure it would be suitable for an air compressor.
