Uncomfortable front seats! What is the solution?

Hey Y'all!

I have a 2022 4dr Badlands Lux w/ MGV(Took delivery June 2022 and put 27k miles on it already). It has manual seat adjustments and I can get it to "comfortable enough" but on drives of 1hr+ I get pretty bad back pain. I did a 9hr straight drive and my back hurt for like 2 weeks afterwards

For comparison sake, I had a 2019 Mustang Bullitt before this and I could take it on 4hr+ drives with no pain.

I'm not an ergonomics expert, so I'm not quite sure what the source of this discomfort is. Has anyone else had a similar experience and a fix?

I'm open to the idea of replacing the whole seat, if that's what it takes I love my Bronco and would like to keep it for a very long time... But if I can't solve this, I might have to trade it for something else

I'm pretty sure I have lumbar cranked to the max. Still, the seats feel a little flat... Maybe kind of leaned forward? Hard to say really. I just know it gives me terrible back pain

I can say there is a very fine threshold of comfort with the manual seats. The seat is comfortable once you find your exact position (you should be able to). As soon as someone moves the seat, good luck finding your spot again...

Desert Does It has an answer for the "flat" seat. I usually make my own and raise the front of the seat 1-1.5 inches but it was much easier to use this one rather than engineer my own. I highly recommend it!

You can only change the seat back angle. Seat cushion angle change would be nice

You can only change the seat back angle. Seat cushion angle change would be nice

Theres a lever on the side of your seat that adjust height. Lift it up to raise and press down to lower.

I'm aware of that, but you can't change the angle.

I love my seats. I just did 1100mi round trip this past weekend. Ive done at least half dozen 700ish mile round trips and never an issue for me.

I'm with BigGarnet, I loved my MGV seats out of the box... didn't even know there was adjustable lumbar support, lol.

For comparison, I don't care for the leather Recaros in my '22 Mustang GT...

I'm aware of that, but you can't change the angle.

Mine feels like it lifts just the rear portion.
