Interesting, but still not following. That article makes sense for the smaller set screw (what ever that means). States they loosen the 2 bolts and move the set screw, not a large bolt from that projecting tang.

Maybe me, but not seeing how the tang with mount was used in that 1” lower setup. I first thought they rotated so this mount was on shock mount side, but they don’t indicate rotating, just loosening.

Is there more to the description, another bracket / rod that mounts to tang and holds axle up the 1”?
