Thanks for sharing. We travel full time in a 26’ motorhome flat towing our Bronco. We should exit Baja In April and will travel up thru CA and Oregon. I’m going to definitely add this to my “must do” list before going to Owyhee Wilderness in Oregon.

Very cool. I have been to Calico a couple dozen times, but don't recognize this trail. I stay mostly on the North/west side by Ft Irwin rd. In your 2nd photo, which trail is that and what would you rate it's difficulty out of 10? Did I hear philips canyon? Not familiar with that one but it looks rad. How would a Chevy Colorado ZR2 do up it? Thanks for sharing.

Sad to see people graffiti the mine shafts, especially after they are graffiting all of the boulders in the wilderness all over socal. A new low for our culture for sure. Lots of special history in Calico.
