Wondering what everyone wished a particular Vendor or Manufacturer made something for the Bronco and what is it you wished they made?

For me, I'm hoping these happen:

  • AEV - American Expedition Vehicles
    • Hot Stamped Hi-Boron Steel Skid Plates - lighter and stronger than anything else out there
    • Bumpers - they know how to make some great winch bumpers and rear bumpers with great features
  • Gen5Diy
    • P&P Harnesses for
      • Fog lamp/high beam override
      • Radar detector harness and auxiliary power for rear view mirror
      • Rapid fire third brake light harness
      • Mirror Sidelight to turn signal blinker light harness
      • Live Rear View Mirror upgrade
  • 589Fab
    • Shock skids, skids
    • Hidden winch

Rhino Rack Backbone System.

For those that are not familiar, it's a roof rack that has an inner support system that puts all the weight down to the body and off the top.

I think those external versions are way too bulky and ugly.

Just don't see too many people willing to modify their roof to accommodate the design. ARB has a similar system that requires drilling through the roof to attach to the rollbar.

It's possible, however drilling through the MIC and mounting it solid to the body is probably an improvement for the top :)

I'll have to look into that ARB one.

Ford.

I wish Ford made/offered more accessories for the Bronco - other than an overpriced winch for the mod bumper that won't even work with Lux.

Truly the only thing "modular" in Ford's eyes is if you dent the corners of the bumper they are easily replaced.

Ford could offer a retrofit hardtop (if they could ever get their sh** together and throw their weight around the supplier industry)

Please let me know what you think. Ours is freestanding with no weight on a hard (or soft) top. Thanks.

I will say, I kind of like the concept of that back piece that you have the rotopax on. I wonder if you could make something like that that would work for the area in the back of a 4 door where the factory rack stops short?

Our redesigned version (details on a YouTube live show Tuesday) will show the changes. We’re already developing an attachment which extends the basket all the way back.
