O dang. And, did you say you tinted your windshield?
Windshield is fully tinted at 50%, I highly recommend it if legal where you are but choose your tinter very carefully. I made the mistake of having the dealership’s person do it, dirty environment rush job necessitated a trusting redo with marginally better results and now a scratched up dash.

I understand your hesitation but at 50% it is still very easy to see out at night and headlight glare and intensity from all the insanely bright headlights out there is nonexistent.

Your not alone it’s the biggest disappointment I have with the bronco other than the rubber flooring not being an option on all trims. Finger nails scratch the heck out of it. My wife’s phone slipped between the seats on our last trip. It lost like someone took a screwdriver to it on my console. The cargo area looks like a 15yr old work truck just from groceries and beach chairs. A heat gun will fix some of it. But it should not be so delicate for an off road vehicle.
You're not missing out. The rubber flooring sucks. You still have to have high quality floor mats.

If you swap the Bronco, water gets trapped under the rubber floor and it has to be pulled up to dry just like carpet would.

So a sprayed in bed liner would be better anyway from what your saying.

I noticed the female end of my seatbelts have been scratching up the center console of my 2 door when my seats are tilted forward. It seems like an easy fix but the damage is done.

I am really disappointed in how easily the interior plastics get scratched. My cargo area looks like it is 10 years old already, it's only been 9 months and I have 12,500 km.

I mean depends on what you want.

If you're looking to swamp your vehicle then yeah I'd think that is the only option - but that also comes with doing a bunch of engine work to handle getting into deep water.

If you're just looking for something to hose out, the heavy duty custom fit floor liners are the way to go in my opinion - it would be much easier to pull them out and hose them down than working a hose around the interior being mindful of everything you can't soak.

Don't use a heat gun. It draws out the oils and makes the piece more brittle, it also causes fading.

I have those already they don’t keep carpet from getting wet if you get caught topless in a pop up shower

Just PPF your cargo area if you want to protect it from scratches.

I hated the easily scratched interior until at some point I just accepted that the anxiety wasn't worth it. I don't trash it, but I don't worry about it as much anymore. Passenger side glove box takes a beating from kid's soccer bags, book bags, feet and more.

I’m noticing excessive wear on drivers side interior grab handle on door.

To the point where my bronco was built beginning of June and it looks 10 years old.

I may take it in for warranty replacement. The wear is really excessive
Got any pics of said wear?

How much money does Ford actually save by going cheap on plastics? How much more is it to make something somewhat decent? Can't be that much more per vehicle. When we are already spending 40,50,60 grand I'm sure another hundred bucks for "good" plastic would be welcomed by everyone.

Love my Bronco but the cheap plastic scratched up is really annoying.
