And it’s a two door. 😲 What person would do such a terrible thing?
I attract slowmo’s and assholes who just fly in once I got Gypsy, I can see how that happens

Move to CO, you'll be replacing windshields at least every other year. I had to replace 3 different vehicle's windshields in 2020.

Could be worse…

Saw this on “The Facebook”… still sucks about the rock.
This was clearly caused by them driving with only the front panels in place, said every Karen here for years.

Seriously though, look how those panels are still locked in after what appears to be violent contact. Bravo, front panels!

I took delivery of by Bronco this past Friday. I was driving back to the dealership to drop off some paperwork and I got hit with a rock that looked about like the size of a baseball. The freeway has a bunch of construction going on, so I am assuming it came from that. I just hope that getting a replacement doesn't take too long because this crack is so close to the edge I now worry about driving it.

Man-O-man, that really sucks. At least the windshield protected you.

Does it still require a deductible when you have to replace it?

This is the one I bought. I think it’ll look good with the fender flares.

Normally I'm not a fan of deflectors - as others have said, it screams "80s".
However, I have to agree it actually looks good on the Bronco. Think it's a combination of the grille and trail sights, but it just seems to fit with the rest of the vehicle.
*sighs* Guess I need to add this to the list of accessories and stuff I still need to buy...

I got Shatter-X to help with smaller rocks. It only lasts a year though but I don't even have my Bronco yet so not sure if it works. It was only $30 so it gives me time to figure something out like Exoshield which I was quoted $600 for.
While I'm not convinced that will prevent damage from rocks similar to what others have encountered, if it helps even a little bit that's worth $30.

I would agree - But it adds to the "retro-modern" look of the Bronco, IMO :)

I have had to replace so many windshields since moving to Vermont 13 years
Repair or replacement at no charge for five years. no deductible.
Thanks! I will have to look into this to see if they offer it at my dealership. they may not because Vermont is terrible with cracked windshields. Also had decided on the deflector too. There are no local places that do exoshield (or any other brand) that I can find.

So I’m not the only one with a crack today… was driving on the highway and heard something small hit my windshield. Didn’t think anything of it. Once I got home about an hour later I see a crack.. already looking at deflectors. Safelite scheduled me in for next week let’s see if they come through.

Safelite wanted $1400 for a new one. Got it at the dealer for $896.

That seems like a steal. OEM glass? Through ford or something they offer themselves?

Crystal fusion- Advanced windshield protection. Not through Ford.
