I did not realize all the trims had sensors in the glass you would think ford would have designed a better window or better design then. Sucks we got to be scared to even drive our broncos I’m going to be driving miss daisy staying far back

I have heard that Bronco windshields are magnets. I gotta check my insurance to make sure $0 deductible on replacement.

Almost as bad as a Wrangler in that department

There’s been some posts on this thread saying it does help. I bought the Ford Accessory (Trail Armor) one. I don’t mind the look, it’ll protect the lip of the hood from rocks, and if it helps deflect rocks and bugs from the windshield, then it’s money well spent.

Is the trail armor one the textured one I may have to look into this I wanted to keep the classic look of the bronco but I don’t want to be buying windshields either

Yeah that’s the textured one the other model they make is non textured

Got mine done in Stek windshield ppf and whole body done in xpel ultimate 10

Yes, I got this one, too. I wasn't sure about it at first, but I didn't want paint chips nor a cracked windshield, so I did it. Now I think it looks rugged! I love it! No paint chips, no windshield cracks...so far. Can't guarantee it's because of the hood protector, though, but I'd like to think so!

“Just get a hood deflector” sheesh bro that sucks. My silverado does a great job at not collecting rocks on its windshield. Definitely double checking my insurance policy

This may take a few years, but it would be great if we can get replacement windshield like the gorilla glass windshield for the Jeep Wrangler.
