I'm looking to put hoss 3.0 suspension on my black diamond 4 door sas.

How does hoss handle aftermarket bumper and winch?

I'm deciding between hoss and fox 2.5 adjustable. I don't need to spend the money and don't want to.

I think it’s important to ask yourself, “What is Hoss 3.0”. In short, Hoss 3.0 is not just Fox shocks, it’s also an upgraded steering rack (important) skid plates, and HD tie rods. I think you also get a rear stability bar, and metal front bumper, but not sure. The Fox suspension that comes with it is not adjustable, but in my experience, not many shocks are adjustable without partly uninstalling them to gain the leverage you need. Now, you can adjust them before install, but again, once they are on, you will need to partly uninstall them to adjust properly.

Long story short, get the Hoss 3.0 and then get some RPG or similar perch collars. It will save you money in the long run.

It will eventually be the full hoss 3.0 minus bumper. I have rear sway bar right now. But will be getting steering rack down the road. And my plates are always getting upgraded. I am also adding e disco if that makes a difference

If money is an issue, just get the Hoss 3.0 package. If you can’t purchase the package, 2.5 adjustable will cost more than the Fox take offs from a 3.0. Not sure if you can purchase those from Ford? I know people sell them aftermarket and they are usually cheaper.

Steering rack in the 2.0 is not that great either. Don’t forget about install and programming fees.

Not sure about the front, but the rear will sit lower if you add about 100-200 lbs. It is soft.
