Have experienced this intermittently on both rear doors. When you open the door, window does not go down and then when you close it hits the rubber gasket, causes a gap and doesn’t seal.

Doesn’t do it all the time, but when it does there is a big air gap and I’m concerned the window may eventually break (especially in the winter).

Have an appt to take to the dealer but wondering if others have had this issue.

Them Pickens folks have a video on how to reset the power windows.

What is the point of this feature? I've noticed modern cars seem to want to overcomplicate this whole door opening process and this just seems absurd that we're now having to troubleshoot opening the damn electronic doors.

I believe the point was frameless doors... Gotta be able to seal the top somehow, thus the window goes up and down as you open and close.

I see. My convertibles don't have this feature, so it's definitely not a requirement. It will be interesting to finally drive a new Bronco and see how well this feature works and whether it's worth it.

I'm pretty new to convertibles and frameless doors so I'm not sure how the windows seal on other vehicles with frameless doors. My only reference is the mustang and the bronco, both of which need to lower/raise the window to open/close the door.

Them there Picken's folks are pretty nice people. It's easy though. Just push the button, and hold it down until the window is all the down. Then pull up the button until the window is all the up, and hold the button up for around 5 seconds. That may take care of the problem.
