Glad that worked for you, doesn't work for some of us. I just took mine in for lube and to have them look at it. They "re-initialized" which I told them doesn't work and on receipt it hasn't change, shocking. Not even sure they looked at it cause it's a how can you not notice it catching really bad.
So I tried to roll down the window, release the window button, hold it down for 5-seconds, then rolled it up, release it again and pressed it up for 5 seconds and it didnt work. I would follow the steps above and make sure you dont let it go once it reachs the bottom or top...

Roll down and hold for additional 2 seconds, roll up and hold for additional 2 seconds, and then repeat the process. Good luck!

This did work for me @Gwillikers
Window issue fixed by doing the following...

Press and hold the window control switch until the window is fully open. Keep the window control switch pressed for two seconds.
Lift and hold the window control switch until the window is fully closed. Keep the window control switch held for two seconds.
Press and hold the window control switch until the window is fully open. Keep the window control switch pressed for a two seconds.
Lift and hold the window control switch until the window is fully closed. Keep the window control switch held for a two seconds.
Opened the door and auto window drop occurred as it should (and closed when door shut)

Thanks ALL! The hive mind comes through once again!
This worked for me as well, @Gwillikers. Thanks for the post.

This is the only fix I found that works on the 2 front windows on my 2023 BRaptor. Thanks!

Just had same issue on 2022 Badlands purchase new. The described method also fixed mine the first time.

So my next question is......wait for it.....why does it stop working in first place?

This worked for me when I put the new door on and it wasn't dropping.

Do you know why it happens? Will it happen again?
Can it be fixed completely??

Another option for the fixes, this has happened to me a couple times as well. Is to roll down the windows partially and then unplug your battery. Wait a couple minutes and then plug it back up. Start your car and the window should be good from there. This used to happen to me frequently and I would take my car to the dealership when I had an oil change to have them fix it also. But recently I upgraded my sound system and I noticed when I re-plugged the battery back in it happened again with it being a multi day process the next day I did it. I did the steps that I said before and everything works smoothly so maybe try that out if nothing else works before taking it to the dealership and wasting your time potentially 😂 btw it will happen again at the worst unexpected time

Yea good old school reset of “unplug it and plug it back” in usually does the trick for a lot of things. Don’t tell the robots of the future tho🤫

Noticed this on my front passenger door yesterday when I went to open the door and it was outside of the seated spot. Also, when I go to roll it down, the auto down/up doesn't work. Going to try this fix on my break in a bit.

Hi Ward! I can look into your Bronco's window concern on my end. To get started, could you please send a private message over with the name/location of your local Ford dealer and your Bronco's VIN?
