Has anyone had to replace their windshield, gone with Safelite, and been able to get a replacement that still has the BRONCO, est. 1966 logo on the bottom right corner? I have scheduled a replacement with them for about a week from now and they said it won't have the logo on the glass.

... and the "Accessory Ready" labeling, I'd imagine.

I was worried that would be the case.

Time for @StickerFab to step up and help us out.

Replacement glass rarely if ever has the factory markings on it. Even if you were to go to the dealer they'd use a third party glass company.

The dealership I worked at used a company that sometimes had factory glass but mostly luck of the draw, and I've only seen it on two vehicles, both were Shelby vehicles and I have no idea how they managed that.

You just have to ask for the OEM Ford / Carlite glass.

Glass shops don’t typically use factory glass unless you specifically request it.

& it’s gonna cost a little more than aftermarket.

Hope you get the glass you're looking for, but the good news is even if you don't Ford made sure to stamp the word Bronco in about 500 other places. :)

Just had mine replaced yesterday by Safelite. Originally had it scheduled 3 weeks ago but the glass was not OEM, so I waited until they could get one from Ford. It has all the same markings and print as the original. Installer couldn’t believe how easy it was to replace. He also loved the test drive to recalibrate the camera.

Had mine replaced in April. OEM glass looks exactly like the factory one with all the same markings.

OEM glass should have the markings, aftermarket glass no.

I don't even know if aftermarket glass is available. But, just in case, specify OEM glass.
Every time I have had the glass replaced in the Mustang I got the running horse in the glass up on the tint strip.

Thinking I might call the local Safelite location here tomorrow during normal business hours and see if they can look deeper into getting me OEM glass. The person I talked to had a delay in responding in our conversation (like when you're talking via satellite), and with it being a Sunday, I'm wondering if I talked to a nationally based scheduler.

Yes, I had mine replaced by Safelight and told them OEM only. It is unique, not only Bronco listed but EST 1966 on lower driver corner. They complied.

My normal glass guy, and Safelite both told me 2 months ago that there wasn't any aftermarket glass options. Oem was the only available replacement. Not sure if that's changed.
