Amateur hour take it back. I only let the dealer touch my glass and I take pics of everything when drop off on site. I've had carpets damaged /holed, glove box and console covers scratched, broken side mirror, dents, ripped driver's seat.....animals!

Most dealers don't do the windshield, they send it to another shop.

True but whether they do internally or outsource the dealer is the accountable party with master Ford corp. Vs a glass shop who will most likely try and blow off any complaint with, in Canada at least, " no one else has complained" LOL.

I have had two windshields put in by my local auto glass shop and never had one off center, after market and OEM are exactly the same size, my local glass shop charged me $395 for the last one , and I tell them not to mess with camera and never had to have it readjusted.

Just got my first chip/crack. It can't be repaired, costing me $900 to fix it with OEM glass. Just lowered my comprehensive deductible from $1k-$250. Im also going to PPF the new windshield.

After a few weeks of waiting, I just had my windshield replaced with OEM glass - took about a week to get the glass from Ford. I used an auto body shop near my home (Strathmore Auto Body in Aberdeen, NJ) and they did an awesome job - no scratches and windshield is aligned perfectly. The camera did require calibration. I’m glad I went this route instead of Safelite, given some of the hit/miss stories.
