Curious just trying to get an idea…Safelite wants $1,300 to replace my windshield. Does this sound correct?
Sorry for bumping an old thread but this was the first windshield one that came up.

Submitted claim thru Progressive. I could have sworn i elected $0 glass deductible because I had read the stories about Jeep/Bronco vertical glass picking up rocks. But I clearly didn't after looking at my policy.

$750 for aftermarket glass
Believe it was $1150 for "Bronco" glass.

I went with aftermarket this go around and I'll change to $0 deductible and see about Bronco glass in the future when/if it breaks again. At least Safelight is coming out to the office to do the job.

PSA for anyone reading this: definitely be sure you have glass coverage on your Bronco insurance policy. It was $24 more to add it to my 6 month policy. Sigh.

We still have the OEM factory windshield. We install ExoShield the next day after purchasing it.
Totally recommend it
