So I have an interesting situation. I received a GT to convert my day 1 reservation into a Raptor. As I was converting my original Wildtrak order to the Raptor, Ford scheduled my WT for production even thought I accepted Ford's invitation to convert within an hour of receiving the email. My dealer said they couldn't change the original order since it was scheduled for production and ordered me a Raptor back in March, I have an email from Ford with an order #. This week I received an email from my Ford dealer that my WT was in. They said my Raptor order is still in the process, but they don't know when it will be built. I'm not even sure my GT is associated with my Raptor since it seems the whole ordering process got screwed up. I can take the WT now and then the Raptor when it comes in. When I ordered the WT 2 years ago I needed a truck, now I don't. Do I take the WT now in case the Raptor never comes through or just wait for the Raptor?
if taking the wildtrak has no affect on the raptor order, and its an msrp deal, i would take it personally.

I was told at time of switching that the raptor would be more likely to be built before my badlands build. I am day 1 reservation, I was also told by granger I was number 1 on their list , all this from hunter, I also tried put my second order in right before the cutoff off of my22 from a day 3 reservation only to be told by hunter it was 2 late which was incorrect and I had it in a day before it closed and confirmed with Zach the next day who apologized for it not getting done but there was nothing he could do now. So yes time and time again I have been mislead not only by ford but also by granger. This thread was not meant to be a bitch thread, am I disappointed, yes, am I frustrated, yes. But at no time did I want this thread to be about complaining, I just wanted to find out if people were thinking like me and wish they had kept their original order knowing what they know now back then. And by the vote I can see that I am not the only one. And to say “it’s mostly people who haven’t been scheduled” yes of course it is l, that is part of my original post, people who have NOT been scheduled and have early day 1 or early day 2 reservations.
I don't know - by the time GT's came about everyone knew or should have know that the dealerships and Ford aren't telling us everything and/or are full of shit. The Granger situation was also very painfully outlined to all parties involved based on sheer allocation #'s - that was going to be the case with Braptors also- regardless of what anyone said. I'm at a small dealer - we doubled their numbers with a group buy. I am in the end 1/3 of timestamps (8/6 reservation) so I was upset to be pushed to 22 and lose my color, then when allocation #'s started getting floated around it was easy to do the math and say oh shit I'm gonna end up with a 23. Fast forward to the GT process - didn't get one at first and then the large influx of B6G members to our dealership resulted in an extra non-GT allocation, that they gave to me as the group buy coordinator - I'd venture a guess that I am one of the absolute LATEST reservation timestamps for the Braptor and at this point fully expecting (regardless of what Ford, my dealership or anyone here has said) that I am NOT getting a 22. My dealer said they have 1 more (non-wholesale) allocation cycle left to find out if I am in - but I know there are 3-4 Braptors ahead of me...would I have my Wildtrak or a Badlands by now? - probably not either - so it puts me in a different position than you - but I understand your frustration. For me I ALWAYS wanted the Raptor - even before it was rumored, I was lucky enough to get one - so I'll suck it up and wait - don't have to be happy about it, but things could be worse. I don't want to get myself jaded about the process and it translate to a nitpicky attitude towards my rig when it shows up and there are issues (because there will be).

My 7-15-2020 reservation was built in June and at Dealer mid July. In March dealer offered me a Raptor Allocation, I was not a GT. Deal was, he got the 2 door loaded Badlands.

I thought briefly about letting him have the allocation back. I think I am glad I held out for Raptor, build week 9-5-2022

Did you take the time to read my message? I could have had my day 1 reservation, people from granger after me have received theirs. I blame Granger for the simple fact the said the raptor would be be built before my day 1 badlands reservation build. I blame Ford for the lies after lies and continued zero updates. Your august reservation is a month past most, and all true bronco fanatics where in the first couple days. You were way behind the curve on your order so you don’t know the frustration. And if you don’t have a raptor order don’t come in the raptor forum and act like you know. I hope you get yours soon and wish you the best, but you are not in the situation that the majority of us are in here in this forum. Good luck to you buy like I said, move along!

Calm down, Shane.
