I love my Bronco, but I'm back to bitch about a few more things.
My screen often says "Key Fob Not Detected" even after I have just started the car! It also says something about needing to restart the car after I have shut it down. The collision avoidance warning goes off at some of the weirdest times. (It really doesn't seem to like a light blue vintage truck parked on a bend near my house.) There are also various other little weird things with the computer system that I'm forgetting at the moment. Luckily the Bronco still drives fine and these things are just an annoyance for now.
I keep hoping a software update will fix some of these issues, and that leads me to my final complaint (for today). I've got the rig set for "automatic updates" twice a week. I also occasionally just press the button to check for updates and hope for something. All I ever see though is "Your system is up to date". What the hell does that mean?! There's no software version listed. There's no date listed. There's no explanation of what has been fixed or what new features might be available. I'm guessing that my latest system update is actually whatever was installed at the factory and that nothing has come in over the air since then, but I couldn't say for sure. There's no way to tell!
Rant off. Have a great day!
