I would love to get the Bestop. It is one of the things that is on my list. How is the noise with that compared to normal soft top?
I’d say same as regular soft top, but much better looking and easier to get windows on and off

Mudflaps and aeroskin 2 hood deflector unless you like chips in your paint. Depending on how long you plan on owning it, I would think about purchasing an extended warranty.

Plan on owning it for a while.....good call on the extended warranty. I had not even thought of that. It sure is the "Boring" choice...but a sensible one. Thank you

Thank you. My wife has partial hearing loss from an infection as a child and having conversations with any kind of background noise is very difficult for her. Not saying the Hard top is dead quiet....

I have a 2023 Wildtrak as well. Took delivery late December. I've gone to town and have spent a lot more than $2k, but most of the suggestions are really good so far and you have the mudflaps.

Currently installed:
JCR Aluminum Vanguard Bumper
RCI Rocksliders
RCI Aluminum Skid Plates
RTR Rear Bumper
RTR Spare Tire Carrier
Draw-Tite Hitch
RekGen Mudflaps
Grab Handles
PIAA Fog Lights
Grams Light 57DR-X Wheels (17x8.5 et 0)
Nitto Ridge Grappler (35x12.5)

Need to be installed:
Ford Performance A-Pillar Lights
RTR Rear Molle Panels (interior)
RTR Spare Tire Carrier Molle Panel
JCR Foldaway Table
12K Superwinch

I'm not sure if you have room to store the HT or not. I do not so I got a hoist (J-BARR) to raise and store my HT when I want to take it off. It's $500 all in, much less than a soft top. Should be about 10 - 15 minutes to get it off by myself.

Great Link on Extended Warranty as I plan to do the same: https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/thre...plan-analysis-cost-per-mile-comparison.69132/

For additional feedback, my priority items/priority spend when I get my Wildtrak. FYI - I plan to do little more sand/beach than trail off-roading & overlanding.

  • Mabet Rear Dome light
  • Undercoat truck w/ woolwax
  • Diode Dynamics - Fog lights
  • Pilar lights – Diode Dynamics SS3

  • Rear/Front speakers - swap out
  • Kicker Amp – Kicker KEY200.4 + Harness
  • Smart Phone Mount
  • Front Hood chip deflector
  • Door Sill Guards

I'm not the only one that thinks this. C'mon guys admit it. THIS is what we really needed to complete the look:

I am starting to really like that RCI rack for the roof. One of the better options I have seen so far.

I know this is highly subjective, but, have a $2000 budget at the moment and was wondering what your thoughts are on the first upgrade or addition you find appealing/necessary?

Azure Grey, MIC, Mod Bumper, full bash plates, Hoop steps,LUX

I appreciate your comments and antics….
Front mudflaps as soon as humanly possible. Unless you want to hear rocks anytime you go above 10 mph on new paint. Other than that Wildtrak doesn’t need much. Grab some lighting for late nights a tire cover if you want and some camp gear like a hard cooler and arb compressor.

Get different tires and you won't need mud flaps.

1st question. How do you plan on using it?
Man that is the best response so far and @plogan1379 still hasn't given a good answer. I mean seriously is it going to be a pavement mall queen or is it going off road? 🤔

It will definitely be going off road. But it will be my driver for everything else also. I plan on going off road as much as possible (frequent trips to Arizona, NM, and whatever trails I can find here in North Texas. Just have to keep in mind that I do have to use it around town as well.
