In the 6g tradition, let us speculate!
Obviously, is makes no sense to offer another 'First Edition' or offer a 'Second Edition' for 2022.
Soooo...... what's next?
We can expect a Warthog, but that's a performance model, not likely to appeal to those with the luxo, exclusive FE tastes.
The 'Heritage Edition' has practically been confirmed, and likely will be a higher end model if the lease residual value estimates are an indication. It could be a contender to replace the FE, tho I fail to see 'Heritage' being synonymous with the hi-end luxo model the FE represents. We will see.
The next hi-end model will likely have some awesome interior combos we've already been teased with, the saddle leather and light colored interiors are sure to be in the Bronco's future.
What will the future 'FE' be named, and what will it offer?

Warthog and especially Heritage Edition will be the FE for 2022. Probably something else after that in 2023.

We know that's coming, but will it be the flagship of the lineup, or a mid-level retro?
I'll bet we'll see some regional offerings too..... ranging from Cali/Fla summer cruisers, to Minn/Mich winter brawlers, to Baja and Moab (oops...taken) versions.

Definitely a Special Edition to replace the FE. Way to much money on the table for Ford not to fill that slot. They've already announced Heritage and Warthog, but I remember Levine mentioned a Special Edition. Maybe they just call it the "Special Edition" 🤔. It'll be optioned out like the FE with a handful of colors, special interior and exclusive graphics.

Special editions are seldom the flagship of the lineup. They are usually just sticker and option packages (like FE). A Warthog would be a flagship model.

I’m pretty sure the heritage edition will replace the the FE. Nothing else makes sense. The warthog will be like the raptor and be a high performance model(IMO that super wide body looks so menacing)

Besides what has been named regarding the Heritage and Warthog editions, I suspect the Base will be retired from retail options. It may still exist for fleet sales such as rental companies. With the Base retired, the Big Bend would become the entry-level model. And to add to the retail line-up would be the Everglades edition.
