I'm not a huge fan of the looks of ring 3rd brake lights in general, but I would love to have a slightly better view from the back, so I may go this route soon, or just use some dual funtion Diode Dynamics lights for my 3rd.

Looks good ✌

Is that plug and play or you have to splice it? Looks good, and gives you a little more view out the rearview mirror.

I had to cut and splice, I used crimp on plug-in connectors. If I ever want to go back it would be just a matter of plugging in the connectors. It really makes a big difference in what you can see, I can see cars behind me now.

Not a ring fan either, looks good though but seems someone could make a 3d plastic housing ( i know people love to create 3 d stuff now on printers ) that would fit in say 2 of the top cutouts of the sas wheel and snap in, and have a led light in them that would be clean looking when not on but functional when braking and still be able to ‘snap’ it out when needed to change a spare )

They look sweet. Here is what I got, plug and play no splicing for anyone interested in these.
OFFROAD GAMERS Spare Tire Brake... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BKP1MS3X?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

I got one that looks similar to yours from LED Factory Mart. It’s the one that has sequential lights and is plug and play. It took a month to receive it. The center hole was not large enough to fit flush against the spare tire mount…not large enough to get past the curvature of the hub/camera mount where it meets the carrier; therefore, you can’t bolt the spare back up. It was specified for a Bronco. I have a Badlands Sasquatch. Customer support isn’t so great. They never answer their phone or return calls. They do eventually respond to emails. Been dealing with this via email for weeks and still don’t have resolution.

Dang, that’s rough, and annoying, see if you can return it. The one I got was legitimately so easy. <8 minutes install. plugged in, fit over carrier perfect, 3 holes lined up perfect, covered the extra harness in tape and zip tied in the carrier housing, and was good to go. Plus it’s 10% off right now.

I have been trying to return it for several weeks. Customer service responds only to emails and then only in the wee hours of the morning, causing this to drag on and on. Sixteen back and forth emails thus far. They even wanted me to send them a video, which I did. I guess my explanation wasn’t good enough. Rather than giving me a return authorization and a refund, as I requested, they are trying to send me some other type of light…I have no idea what because they didn’t specify. Seems they really don’t want to issue a return authorization or a refund. Really odd and really frustrating. Beware of LED Factory Mart.

What type of light do you have? Sounds like something I would like with the sequential stuff!!
