So i went wheeling yesterday at AOAA. Great time, but put a slice with a litte hole in my side wall.
No big deal, put a plug in it, air back to 16 psi kept on going....
Btw, when you air down, a tire light comes on with a message you acknowledge and then thats it, the light stays on, not a big deal, but you still get your pressures from the tires. That is how i know i had a leak. I keep it on off road display that shows pressure, drive train and such.
So, end of day wheeling, I start the job of putting on the spare. Used the tools onboard which worked fine. Spare on and every thing put away so i start to head home. I did not air up the spare so at first the one tire displayed 16 still. But to my surprise about 10 minutes later, it read 40!!!
I didn't expect a TPMS in the spare, on top of that did not expect the bronco to know which one to read!!!
So a very pleasent surprise!
