MY production date moved up a week (per email late last night).

Originally my 2 door Wildtrak (non-priority order) got scheduled for June 7th, Then was pushed to June 28th, and now is June 21st.

This could be good news for all of us.

EDIT: Not everyones was pushed forward from last nights email, some got delayed more. Also yes my date got moved up from my initial delay, in the end it is still delayed, just less delayed. :p

Just another fine example Ford doesn’t know what its doing. OCNORB curse.
You're not wrong haha, I bet it moves around 3 more times before they actually build it, "pushed to September 2024"

2 steps forward, 1 step back…

Frankly, this is ridiculous. I don’t have a build week yet, but if I did, this kind of communication is terrible. I understand things change. I can even accept getting one build schedule change, but 3 different dates… it’s like dangling a carrot in front of a horse.

I guess it’s good they’re communicating… And for us fine folks up North, we don’t get any of these emails, so less of a distraction :D

There is nothing surprising or ridiculous about this. Good news for you OP, glad you got a VIN and a date. The one or two week changes here and there means the planning and scheduling tools Ford uses are doing what they are supposed to do.

Agree, The point of this post is that things may be getting better production wise since things are getting moved up, and not farther back. But its all speculation, it'll change again

Edit: not everyones was moved up, they are going both directions from last nights email.

My build date was just pushed back one week, from June 21 to June 28. Two door basic Base. Glad Ford is communicating, and as @Happytown stated, nice that the planning and scheduling tools are working.
Was that from the email last night? If so that kinda makes my thread worthless, all it means is that the scheduling tools are indeed doing their job

Right, from an email Ford sent last night. Your thread is not worthless, it's important to see what Ford is doing. And if you can take delivery a week sooner, that's great!!

so Ford pushes everyone three months further out (remember Spring delivery promises?) then they provide build dates for some. Realizing they cannot make those dates either, they need another week of delays, but have the brilliant idea to tell everyone two weeks and then later chop it back to the actual one week. Now Ford superfans can claim they are a week ahead of the new schedule instead of a week behind. That is some quality marketing right there!

edit; The title thread is misleading, you are delayed a week, not moved up one. Here....Bronco's are delayed a full year. Tomorrow I will announce they are moved up six months from that year and I will be a hero!

I guess this threads should be renamed "production dates moving around"
