Want to bring your trailer, RV, or bikes with you on a trip, but heard too many horror stories about your trailer coming unhitched while you’re going 70 mph on the freeway?

Our brand new trailer hitch will minimize those chances.

How?

Two reasons:

(1) Our trailer hitch receiver is made specifically for the Ford Bronco, compatible with 2-door and 4-door, but not the Bronco Sport! The fit will be precise, so no wobbly bits. If something fails, it won’t be due to the hitch.

(2) Engineered to last— our hitch is made of premium steel. We powder coated it to prevent breakage from rust and corrosion, and used seam welding to ensure durability. It’s not going to fall apart on you at 70 mph.

If these two reasons don’t speak to you, check out what our past customers have to say about our trailer hitch:

“Very easy to install it's great for towing. I looked at a few different ones but glad I picked this one. Mainly because it screws right in and I didn't have to deal with those stubborn bolts in the rear.” – C.

“The hitch is sturdy and I feel confident using it for towing my small trailer.”-A. T.

“Finally I can drag my RV on a trip, linking the RV to the hitch is easy, quick and disconnecting is simple”- O.

“I love that this just bolts on right to the correct spot without having to modify anything. The connector holder is a nice touch over some others that I have seen.”-J.

Why is it better than the factory? The Bronco can only tow 3500 pounds max!!! The raptors can two 4500 pounds.

Someone will ask - Where is it made?
A valid question.

FWIW, just purchased a trailer hitch 2 days ago and would have compared this as it has a nice 4-pin mount.

But you just can't beat Curt's 2-stage paint system. Better than powdercoating.

I really hate to criticize a forum sponsor, but…

“Want to bring your trailer, RV, or bikes with you on a trip, but heard too many horror stories about your trailer coming unhitched while you’re going 70 mph on the freeway?”

ummm, no. I’ve heard horror stories of bending the hutch, but a trailer coming unhitched has nothing to do with the hitch or receiver, but rather the ball and coupler. And this situation is what safety chains are for. Quite honestly, the last thing I’m worried about is a trailer coming unhitched. The biggest thing I worry about when towing his trailer sway, causing a loss of control and a major accident.. no receiver can help that.

And I’m sorry, but the before and after is pretty hilarious. Here’s what it looks like without a receiver, and here’s what it looks like with a receiver! :D

LOL I have towed 3,500+ pounds with a MK2 and MK4 ford focus's rated at 1,200 pounds. Hauling the same load 6 times now with my 2-door Bronco I do not see why 6,000+ would be an issue.

I all I have hauled over the past 4 years is concrete, dirt and stone. Very dense masses. I would not try to tow a long trailer or camper over the weight rating of any vehicle even with trailer brakes. The longer wheelbases have more leverage and will cause jackknifing.

Here on B6G we hear horror stories every day. Usually the horror stories involve getting glitter off of vinyl seats or using tire shine on a Sasquatch. But I don’t remember any involving trailers coming unhitched due to to hitch failure. Do you have any links ?

Our trailer hitch receiver is made specifically for the Ford Bronco, compatible with 2-door and 4-door, but not the Bronco Sport!
Are there really hitches advertised for sale as fitting both Broncos and Bronco Sports ? If so, I am not aware of any. Ford has completely different hitches for these two vehicles, Curt has completely different hitches for these two vehicles, and Reese/Drawtite has completely different hitches for these two vehicles.

You made a bold claim here, if it’s true you should have no problem providing a link.

“Very easy to install it's great for towing. I looked at a few different ones but glad I picked this one. Mainly because it screws right in and I didn't have to deal with those stubborn bolts in the rear.”
This is very interesting. You claim the a hitch that “screws in” is superior to a hitch that is bolted on. From your photos it appears your hitch uses bolts, not “screwed in”. Please explain how your hitch attaches to the vehicle without using bolts.

*** edit to add *** like others have said, I like supporting sponsors of this web forum. But this sponsor is making wild claims, and I really don’t think that means we should not ask the sites sponsors to be truthful and provide us with accurate information.

as it has a nice 4-pin mount.
That caught my eye also, nice ....
... but what I really need is a 5 pin set up.
The 5 pin uses the reverse lights to disengage the surge brakes for backing on our boat trailer.

Anyone with towing experience must have rolled their eyes when reading Tectico's promo. It irreparably undermines Tectico's credibility, and raised questions about the product itself.

Link to 4 pin connector that can be used as a direct fit to the circled opening?

Yes, This was kind of my point in my earlier post. I don't this company knows anything about hitches or towing, and is simply reselling hitches. Because if they knew anything about towing, they would know that the trailer doesn't even connect to the receiver, which is the part they are selling.

Thinking of running tube doors but hear horror stories of being broken into? Try my tube doors!

Want to put air in your tires but you're afraid of the way it might taste if you're run off a bridge into deep water and then have to use the air from the tires to breathe until the bad guys think your dead and finally go away? Try my air, it doesn't taste bad even when in a tire for months!

;)

I guess it’s hard to answer a question when it involves where it’s made? Lol

Did anyone try this hitch? It would be great to find out the real experience.
