Great video! I love the breakdown of each CA!

I'd say based on your assessment ADS would be the top pick here for anyone with 35's. Anyone with 37's should consider rock jock or icon.

Great video on rear control arms. Highly recommend checking out his other videos! Subscribe and give him a shout!
Which ADS series were you comparing here? I'm assuming the HD model is what you looked at as the Billet model is leaps and bounds above anything else on the market, however it's triple the price of the HD model.

What I mean is the HD model for the upper and lower is about $1,000.00 which was your price point, however their billet series is almost 3k for the pair.

This explains why my rear tires were rubbing on the front edge of the rear wheel wells.

So, I didn't watch the video, but I'm betting maths is why.

That is a bit misleading.... Yes when you lift it will move the axle forward.... but under compression it still follows the same arc. If you try and center the wheel when at neutral, then compression will move it further back in the wheel well and you are going to hit the back of the wheel well. Yes it does change the pinion angle but if you adjust for that it will change how the axle rotates under droop and compression because you have changed the differential of the upper and lower lengths and they will now take different arcs than designed for the axle rotation. It is all a very delicate balance finding the best combination. This video simply made it all seem way to simple.

Wasn’t me who created video. Just found it on my YouTube feed thought I would share. He breaks things down pretty easily for some of us cavemen to understand. Yeah you could probably argue arcs and all kinds of trig and calculus but most aren’t that smart or willing to do a video on it. Big props for him willing to take time to do a video and his video editing skills are quite good!

It was a good video... just trying to point out that there is a lot more to it than what was emphasized. And well.... there are many installation shops that do not grasp that and the few that do tend to be really expensive, because well... their stuff works well and word gets around. I just do my own work and try to keep it as simple as I can comprehend.

Did not mean to dis you for sharing the video... I appreciate that you shared it.

Um, why does pinion angle matter as much? Our Broncos have CV (constant velocity) joints in the drive shaft, not U-joints. Speed in = speed out regardless of angle.
