I know there's been a difference in definitions. Is this truly a perimeter (outside) vehicle alarm? I had a 3rd party perimeter alarm that they had to connect to tail gate trigger for alarm. Unfortunately, when you removed the doors, all triggers don't work. Removing doors is why I wanted a proximity alarm....

They do not.
The target audience for these books are aftermarket companies that are modifying factory vehicles for commercial or government use. None of the enthusiast vehicles (Mustang, F-150 Raptor, Bronco Raptor, etc.) nor the consumer-oriented vehicles (Escape, Edge, Bronco Sport, etc.) have books.
But obviously a lot of the stuff in Bronco book is also applicable for the Bronco Raptor.
