All,
I've been tracking my Bronco Gas milage every fill-up for the first 10,000 miles.
Some details before hand
2021 Bronco Badlands, V6!!, soft top, lux, Sas, with MGV seats.
First Oil Change at @6,421 miles
Tires run at 36-39 psi
Average Gas milage: 16.9
Towing 3,500 lbs worth of boat/trailer/engine it gets about 14 mpg.

See the attached report for full details and some analysis.

Interesting notes, It get's worse gas milage at 85 mph on I-10 than it does in the city, you can see fill-ups close together when I made road trips to west Texas correlate with lower gas mileage.

I've charted ethanol % to see if ethanol makes a difference. Some times it does, some times not. Can't say there is correlation here.

I've charted price per gallon as well, obviously it's been increasing.

Let me know if you have any questions

I just have 1200 miles I4 Sasq 4 Door getting Avg 19-20 mpg when I am driving 80% highway on Cruise and 20% city - stop and go.

The constant highway speeds are between 65-73 mph and city 50-55 mph, using only Regular 87 on Standard Mode.

My 4dr. Badlands non-sas, installed Sas 35” take-offs. 2.3L w/auto running 87 oct. gets 19/21 around town using a "light" foot.! Wife followed me back from Super Cel. East, I was in the RV and she qwas getting 27 MPG cruising @ 65 mph with the motor home knocking a sizable hole in the air for her.! Did some knocking around town when we got back and killed that big number.! (See pic)

The what?
It's a 2.7L I don't know what the # would be.
It’s the calendar date your engine was made. Located under the hood, in front of the driver. On a label. Here’s mine.

Only important because there has been engine failure in a number of 2.7’s during mid to late summer production 2021.

Starting with numbers/letters on the bottom line. Count six from the left and then the next five numbers are your Julian date. Mine is 21228. That means 2021 and the 228th calendar day of the year. That 228 equals August 16. That’s when the engine was made.

18.2 MPG over the last nearly 1500 miles, including a few off-road trips. I have a 4-dr FE that’s rated at 17mpg city & hwy, so the extra 1.2 MPG is appreciated. Maybe the Roush Cold-Air Intake is helping?

Is this a 2 door or 4 door? Important difference I believe.

I doubt that it's the intake. I average 18 mpg since ownership and 18.2 since the first oil change at 2K miles. I have 4K on it now and have a 4 door BadSquatch with hardtop and 2.7L. And I've taken her off the grid a few times mostly in Baja but also some steep hills in rock crawl mode.

Good detail…. Plenty of miles to get meaningful average.
Looks like Sas and 2.7 is gonna be a 17-18 mpg rig. 2 door might get a tad better but driving style will probably be biggest variable.

Looks like your 10k was mostly 87 and some ethanol blend. No 92-93 octane use I assume? A detailed longer mileage comparison like this with 87 vs 92 would interest me greatly! Maybe I ll be the test mule but think we re still months ( more likely a year or two) before I ll have that opportunity.
Thx for posting your results! 👍
