Code Orange in person

I was able to see code orange in person on a Raptor truck this morning. The color is amazing in person and is definitely orange not red.

I snapped a couple pictures with my phone and it definitely appears much more red in photos than it does to the naked eye

Yeah not sure why the computational photography in our phones pop so much red. The Ford marketing photo I have for my avatar is the closest I’ve seen.

thanks for investigating. i had this same issue with cyber orange, it looked so yellow in photos but in person was entirely different. im rolling with code orange myself and cant wait

the Raitis Rides video of the raptor from the chicago auto show shows the most orange to me. all other videos except maybe the eddieX video on it look red.

From what I have seen on this forum it looks to be about 70-80% of the orders are Code Orange. Takes some of the uniqueness away but I’ve wanted an orange toned vehicle for quite some time, so way it goes.

If anything, I think the code orange is just going to make people know it's a Raptor and all the other colors are going to be mistaken for a normal Bronco until they get a closer look. Also every color that isn't a normal black/white type has looked vastly different in person than in pictures and definitely renders.

Even if all Raptors were Code Orange, you will see more of the any other color Bronco driving around. Code Orange you will know it’s a Raptor

Totally agree and one of reasons I’m getting the Raptor. I’m a 7-15 order and was 184/798 at my dealer so the Bronco is going to be well represented in my area. Plus have the F150 Raptor and have always loved the style. When I placed my original order I had them start the BRaptor list so it’s always been what I really wanted.

I switched to a BRAPTOR in February 2022 and orange happens to be my favorite color. The Cyber Orange is too far on the Yellow side and I happen to like Oranges that are more on the Red side. So, my Raptor is... Code -Orange.

Side note, I had a 1972 Ford F250 Sport Custom 4X4, my first truck, and it was Ford's color code Calypso Coral; very similar to Code - Orange.

I had a 1979 international scout in what I called pumpkin orange with a white rally stripe.

I had no other choice other than Code Orange and if I get pushed to ‘23 and code orange is gone and no navy blue leather with orange accents I’m not sure what I’m going to do. 86K is a lot of money for a strictly summer toy.

I’ve been mondering XPel Stealth, I saw a couple pics of code orange F150 raptor wrapped in stealth. Might try searching raptor forum
