So are we convinced this is only for some broncos? My train trip ended in Atlanta yesterday and now I have no idea how to track or if I can. The vin does nothing on this link.

That’s correct. While many dealers do use United Road, a lot do not use them. They have arrangements with other transporters and with a driver shortage and fuel prices up, they may be waiting until they have a truck full. You just have to hammer your dealer for info - they are the only ones that can help at this point.

Any idea what the average waiting time is for the Petersburg VA location? My dealer has 22 pending cars for pickup so who knows how long it’s going to sit there.
were you able to find anything out? Mine was shipped 3/3 and is headed to the Petersburg Ramp but when I track it, it just says "Inactive"

yeah the truck that makes runs to Newport News area had mechanical issues. Sat there for 9 days before being picked up.

so yours hasn’t arrived to Petersburg yet. Do you know when it left? It took 3 days to go from MI to VA

It arrived in Clearing, Illinois via rail on March 15th. Haven’t been able to track any movement since. Hopefully by the end of this week or early next week I’ll have it.

Does anyone know what it means when it says it’s pending pickup but there is no date next to it??

Ford Bronco United Road Logistics - FAQ AE91BC3E-9D65-4BF5-A54B-9B4E75AA380D
That is a very good sign. That means that it's been unloaded from the Train and is waiting for a truck to take it back to PA. If your dealer uses United Road, then it will be picked up and delivered and United Road will show that progress. Congrats.

For those who are trying to track by RAIL. When your Bronco gets to the destination Rail Yard (provided that's not directly at your dealer), it's turned over to United Road Logistics. Until it's picked up there, what you will see is a PLAN to get it from the Rail Yard to your dealer.

You need to register to get updates and/or see your Load Number on the web site.

On a smartphone device - because the Captcha won't come up on PC, load this web site:
https://www.unitedroad.com/delivery-receipt
Enter your VIN where requested and clear the "I'm not a Robot" check.
This will give you your Load Number (order) and Destination (your Dealer). Keep track of this Order Number.

Under Register Email click on 'Register'
Enter your Name and Email address and click 'Subscribe'. This links your Email address and the Dealer you're interested in.
You will get a 'Successfully Registered' response if it likes what you entered.

You will then be sent a Temporary Password to your e-mail address you supplied.

When that comes, open this web site:
OVISS - Login (unitedroadlogistics.com)
Carefully enter your email and temporary password - it only gives 3 tries. You will then be prompted to change the password. (must have a Capital & Lower case letter, Number, and special character). I seem to remember, I had trouble finding the 'submit' button on this screen - it's WAY to the right. Once it's accepts your selected password, you can go back and login again.

What you will see is all the orders bound for your Dealer. Don't worry if you don't see your Bronco because it's not ready to be picked up yet.
On that page, select the Menu bars (three horizontal bars next to their logo) and select 'Track'.

In that window, enter the Order Number you received earlier. You can also track by VIN as well.

If you got everything right, you will see an entry with your VIN and the Destination Rail Yard and Your Dealer. When you select 'Track' on that window a map showing the route the truck is expected to follow to get from the Rail Yard to your Dealer.

Back on the Order number Results Page, next to your order number, it will likely say 'inactive'. That means that the 'plan' is in place and ready when the Bronco gets to the Rail Yard.

When it gets to the Rail Yard, that should change to 'Pending Pickup'.

Once it's picked up and on its way: I believe it says 'In Route'

Once it's been dropped at the Dealer: I believe that it says 'Delivered'

@vickismith1023 also reports that there's a 'Cancelled' status, but it's unclear what that really means. For @TomAuto, it meant that the Bronco got to his dealer some other way. Check to see if it's ready to be picked up.

There also appears to be a means to 'subscribe' to get mailings of deliveries underway. Under the 'Settings' window, select 'Notifications' and check all that you want to see. Emails will start right away and show what your dealer is getting from your Rail Yard destination. Eventually, it's hoped that the Bronco will be one of those.

I hope this helps those people who are having difficulty with the United Road Logistics web site and want to see how this component of the transportation plan is planned and executed.

If you continue to have problems after trying this process, I'm not sure what to tell you. These steps ended up working for me and it just may not end up working for others.

Please feel free to add more info to this thread to assist others in getting info from there.

Edit: I've discovered that I can see just about anybody's 'plan' - I just need the Order Number. Post them here or send them my way and I'll lookup your status.

Edit: with all the VIN’s not working, it’s starting to look like United Road is not used by a lot of Dealers. If nothing happens when you try yours, that’s probably why. That looks like why some orders are Cancelled also.

Do you think you can track my order for me? Looks like it’s not working on my end :/

order number 370Q
Vin: 1FMEE5BP1MLB02342

Background:
I called CSX and they said it is “placed in industry” and “held to unload”. I have no idea what that means but from what it seems like, it has arrived at the rail yard in California (my state). It is located in Mira Loma, only a few miles away from my dealership in Ontario.
Does anyone know the timeline on their broncos being delivered from the rail yard to their dealer? I’m hoping mine gets delivered quicker since the rail yard is only <10miles away from my dealership.

@Qasimateen I checked United Road for your VIN and since nothing came up, it probably means that your dealer doesn’t use United Road to make that last portion of the trip - we have found that many don’t. I would just nag your dealer, it’s probably going to show up soon. Good luck!

Thank you so much. Yeah I asked my dealer and they just said It’s still on a rail in Illinois and the ETA of April 25, which I can see as well so not much help there. i just mentioned to him about the Union Pacific updates I got when tracking my rail and I am waiting to see what he says. I feel like he just checked the ETA and not really check the rail yard or any further tracking process through management. I usually get a more in depth update when they take it to managements.

Don't be disheartened if your Status on United Road does not appear or ever change. For some, it is a great resource and can be very helpful locating your Bronco on it's way. For others (like me), it's more wishful thinking. Mine still shows the same status as it did when I started this tread in January. I took delivery last week.

Dumb question. I can pull up my VIN, it shows my dealer, but when I try to register my email it gives a "something went wrong" error. Tried multiple times. If someone registers their email to a destination (a dealer) does that take away the ability for someone else to assign a different email?

It gives me a load number (64546522) and shows my dealer destination - but won't let me register and shows nothing else.

The site is a little flaky. You should be able to register your email address to have them send you updates for any shipments to your dealer. I can't think of any reason that you shouldn't be able to set that up. Just make sure that you do it ALL on a phone - the Captcha won't come up on a PC.
