Ordered. Please have a good, detailed Forscan walk through for those of us who are unfamiliar. Definitely would love to be able to hook them up to an Aux switch to toggle on the reverse LEDs when needed!
Amen to both!

Should be Plug & Play on any Bronco equipped with the Halogen tails. Only reason the aftermarket tow harnesses are an anomaly is because they plug in with the tail lights and are pinned for the Signature lights.
I haven't crawled under to investigate the factory tow package, but I presume based on your comment that they don't tap into the tail lights? Have you tested your lights on Broncos with the factory tow package and halogen tail lights?

No, but the factory trailer package won't interfere with the tails. This will not matter.

I think you're getting confused by the conversation regarding adding aftermarket tow harness, as that is just a jumper plug that connects between the tail light harness. OEM tow harness does not do this.

Your local dealership or any shop that does work on your Bronco should be able to do the flash for you. It is a quick change in the menu, should take a technician less than 5 min to do it.

These are equipped with a resistor. It's needed to show back the correct load of a halogen bulb on halogen equipped Broncos. Not the case for the LED signature equipped.

Think you're confused on why FORscan is needed for LED equipped Broncos. Has nothing to do with resistance & all with fault sense.

Again, resistor is included. You're making a hard assumption here and it is incorrect, sorry.
Ok, if that's the case then do you have the same part number for both styles? As in is the no matter who orders they get tail lights with resistors?

Any news on the LED signature replacement? Or a swap that does not involve a Forscan Flash?

Thanks

There's only one part number and one style. It comes with resistors.

We're looking into compatibility but at the moment it only looks possible through FORscan flash.

Then maybe the resistors are the issue for the signature lighting?

After all, there is no need for the added resistor in an LED assembly for a vehicle that has the LED assembly installed from the factory. Perhaps it's creating just enough that it thinks it's open now?
