The resistor has a JST connector so it can be unplugged. This is not the issue for the Signature Lighting. Again, resistance is not the issue, it is the fault sense for the tail lights that operates through CAN.Then maybe the resistors are the issue for the signature lighting?
After all, there is no need for the added resistor in an LED assembly for a vehicle that has the LED assembly installed from the factory. Perhaps it's creating just enough that it thinks it's open now?
As of now, turning that fault sense off with FORscan is the only solution to avoid a bulb error message on the dash.
