The fact that you could walk away from this, hitting a deer at 70, and the vehicle isn’t completely flattened restores some of my faith in Bronco’s safety. The airbag probably didn’t go off because the crumple zones look mostly intact. Which is saying something.

Hate to read that! I did the exact same thing to a small buck while driving my Jeep XJ in October 2010. I replaced the front bumper with a heavy duty steel one with a hoop from JCR Offroad. I suggest that you get some similar protection up front. Good luck!
