I think the biggest downside it that you can't undo it without a huge and costly effort. Most of the other things I've seen done are at least reversible. If the intent is something unique I think a nice wrap would be much nicer and you can always change it.

Lots of talkers here but no action
what does this even mean? our inaction = our action. no one here is doing the same thing, no one here is offering anything for that vehicle, and I doubt that anyone cares that the dude ruined his vehicle either. i’m quite sure that whoever did this to the raptor didn’t make the decision based upon what anyone here thinks about it.

I’m glad someone went ahead and did it so I can confidently say I don’t want to rhino line any part of my bronco now.

Certainly not the worst I’ve seen.

Was at a car show last weekend and saw a velocity blue WT that they did this to. Only, not the doors. Because they wanted their company logo sticker to stick.

I stood and stared at this formally beautiful 2dr WT with shiny blue doors - and a dull rough front and rear end that was “velocity blue ish”

It was like watching somebody beat a puppy. I actually shed a tear.

I remember back in 16 seeing some Jeep builds do this. I think it looked ok in black or dark gray. I'm not the biggest fan of red. I don't totally hate it though. Personally woulda left the fenders and top alone though. *insert tired joke about the fenders being the same color helping the back fender blend in*
Ya color matching the hardtop with spray liner or paint always makes a Bronco look worse
