Painted door handles are going to cost a fortune to paint

Haha. Deep down I knew I would get F’ed on the handles which is why I figured money would be better spent on an OBX sas compared to a Badlands. But after seeing 35s is way too much.

guess I gotta live with the unpainted handles...can’t have everything. All good.

I took my mirror caps off, sanded them and painted them myself. No problem, turned out great. Tricoat Cyber Orange for my WildTrak.

You can buy Bronco handle covers on Amazon. They are ABS plastic. I sanded them down and painted them, too. Taking off the handles, especially the tailgate, seems very tricky and complicated. I watched a video of the removal and reinstall (search on the forum); that swayed me to the handle covers.

Automotive Paint Touchup has all the Bronco paint colors. Great product. Use the adhesion promoter, too.

I had just about given up on the color matched handle project until seeing this, I love waiting in the forum for finds like this. That bronco looks incredible!

I don't want the paint to match handles, I want the black textured plastic ones. I'm guessing that it is M2DZ7822405CB and M2DZ7822404CB, but I didn't know if anyone could say for sure.

My mistake. But yes, those are the correct numbers for the 2 front MIC handles with passive entry.
