I have seen some threads that indicate some similar symptoms. But recently (around 12 months and 25k miles) my Bronco Badlands 2.7L began to roughly idle (noticeable shake in steering wheel and seats) between 800-1,100 rpm (the cold start range for me). After it warms up and lowers to 500-600 this goes away, however a noticeable pulsing vibration is then felt. Very rhythmic, perhaps every second. Enough to shake the headrests and vibrate your back, but minimal. Not misfire level, and way too repetitive and well-timed to be other issues. At first the dealerships stated it wasn't there, then that it was aftermarket intake or exhaust (I had done the intake after the issue started). I had kept all factory items and it happened if they were also installed so ruled that out. Then the dealership and service manager stated that "that's just how the bronco engines are" that it is normal to constantly "feel like a misfire almost in these Ford engines". Weird that it went from saying it was aftermarket products to totally normal but whatever. @Ford Motor Company Can you confirm that this is "just the way Bronco's are"? Seems like not everyone has this issue and mine did not. I have not been thrilled with the quality and two dealership +a service manager stating that since there are no codes and nothing obvious that they will just leave it as is. Anyone else have this issue? Anyone else finding solutions?
Many point to the AC, but would that kick on and off so frequently (again, every second). I thought about removing the serpentine belt briefly to see if it was related to accessory drive, but I am very new to any and all car work so I have kept my involvement limited.
