Had a great time at the Texas off-roadeo location. Our guide "47" always made sure we took the most exciting line. Makes the top 10 list of experiences in my life.

Ah yes... the Texas Two Step!😎
I did my off-rodeo there in October.
That trail guide standing there watching was my trail guide, Big Al.
While our group was at that obstacle a 12" long centipede "Texas Redhead" as Big Al called it crossed the trail!
Fun times!👍

Perspective always fails to translate in photos and videos. The Texas 2 Step is much steeper than what is depicted.

The more I've explored nature backpacking/hiking, I have that feeling about nearly every picture I've taken. I'll show people and they're like "Whoa...", then I say, "you should see it in person, this picture doesn't do it justice".

Nice video. What time did it finish up? My son and I go in a couple days.

Sadly, it is one of the reasons why I have stopped taking photos (or at least so many). Especially when it comes to off road obstacles, they almost never capture the real perspective and end up looking tame in comparison to what one experiences in reality.

I was going back thru pictures and videos and none of them really give you the same perspective of actually being there. I have a video of the trust fall obstacle and the video just doesn't translate how steep that decent was while using trail control.

All we could see on the inside was the sky.
I know exactly what you are saying and it isn't hyperbole. My first Off-Roadeo was at Texas. When I returned to view my pictures and videos, it was anti-climatic as the perspective doesn't translate.
